i have put windows frames and bottom sills i have got to admit the bottom sills above second floor are  awkward and so dont come as good as ground and first floor ones. once a year i also clean top frames and vents to keep them looking pristine.

ive put windows+bottom sills, but i also do the top sills aswell, i dont make a special effort to do the frames, but they get some cleaning. i'll offer a 'full' upvc wash down of windows only once a year or whenever they look  really bad,. i never did the frames when trad, only as an extra, always wiped the sills down. so i continue the same way wfp. nearly finished all of first cleans and had to redo a few along the way, but all in all im happy with system.

I clean the whole lot every time, doesn't take much longer than doing just the glass if done every time, and guarantees a good finish, never lost a customer due to quality issues.
Usually due to being weeks late!

i give the frames a quick going over each clean. I tell the cust that the frames might not be perfect after first clean and that they will come good after a few cleans. just a once over each clean takes a bit more dirt off and over time it gets them done without adding hours to the clean.

I squirt water into the vents too to be sure the insides stay spotless  ;D

Yeah I see what you mean m8 - I just include the frames and sills in with the price of the window.

Why does it need a depends option ? The poll states WFP  you could always start a new poll for trad window cleaning

 Clean EVERYTHING....................

Glass, Frames, sills, and doors.
Even vents!
Explain to new customers that it takes a couple of cleans to get it good and offer a NO Quibble Guarentee (probably spelt wrong ???)

Only time you have to be carefull is with Sash windows..........
DO NOT brush and rinse under the sash you WILL disturb the dirt between the sashes.  Its down to a flat angle on the brush so as to brush to the top edge of the glass and rinse flat on NOT upwards.
