Thats about half the price of the Chemspec 'Dry Power' powder that I use with my flexi-5.  Does it work just as well?

Hi Derek,  Yes my name is Pete!!
I have only just bought my Flexi-5, secondhand from a long established carpet cleaner.  I've just started playing with it, so I will let you know how I get on shortly.  Hope to try it out on a couple of commercial jobs, maybe a shop next week.  I also bought a Dry Fusion machine at the same time, so now (together with my Powr-Flite Perfectheat) I am equipped for all opportunities.
cheers,
Pete

well i wanted a flexi for pre vaccing and lifting carpets, and then also prespray agitation so i can get rid of both sebos. if your doing this sort of thing rather than dry compound with it, then i'd be interested in how it handles those 2 jobs.
derek
ps... i suppose i could dry compound as well if the need arose.

Yesterday, I used my Flexi-5 for the first time to agitate pre-spray in a large communal lounge in sheltered accomodation - it worked really well and was far quicker and more effective than my Sebo !!

Not used it yet on a large scale for dry powder cleaning - will report soon.

I was up at John Kellys today and used the flexi 5 on a rug we were cleaning - to agitate the Nemesis Super prespray. Worked just like the Envirodri but has the advantage of the vacuum.

joe
how good are they then joe compared to a sebo, are they in another league or do you think results wouldn't be too noticable?
i have to justify £2000 with the results i achieve for my customers or its not worth investing.

Derek
I have not used a SEBO Duo, but the price is in a different league ie £200  compared t0 £1600.
The Duo does not suck and neither will it dig deep into the carpet like the much heavier duty Flexi 5.

If I may join this modified thread regarding the Flexi 5 - I'd be interested to hear how it performs on the VLM side rather than for prespray agitation.  It does seem a bit high-end for the latter, although I believe that use for pre-spray doesn't void the warranty.

Regards

Didnt use it with sponges, we were HWE the rug.

Tried the Flexi 5 at the Cleaning Show compliments of Keith Nicholson (Chemspec Europe) and CarpetGard.

There is a special offer on at the minute; £1590 for the complete Flexi 5 system, including chemicals. There is also a 3 year lease option at £57.24 per month.

Excellent bit of kit and will almost certainly be getting one in the near future.
