http://www.officelive.com/free-website
-
I built mine. I used a template from www.templatemonster.com it makes the whole process easier & quicker!
-
Me too
http://www.oakleywindowcleaning.co.uk
-
I built mine with web builder 5 and use freeola for the hosting but i am now playing with publisher and see what that turns out like.
-
mine was free using synthasite www.highlevelwindowcleaners.com
multiple pages for absolute nothing, and no technical skills needed either,.
but in the end i got nat to do a proper one for me, but i found the sythasite one a good place to start... www.gacontracts.co.uk

Get a hosting site and domain, I have used http://www.dataflame.co.uk/ in the past and they are fairly affordable. If you are not wanting anything like flash etc and just a good informative corporate presence then I would tackle it myself if you look at ians the mods sites his own looks better than the one he is paying for.
You can do a decent design with front page but if you want something more design orientated you would need something like Photoshop and dream weaver, witch can produce some pretty incredible sites when you take your time with it.
Also know its not something you are going to do over a weekend and a good site should take you a couple of months, also look at online payments as a website should be an additional service to your customers in my opinion.

its all build from scratch. the template i made in photoshop and then put together in dreamweaver

i have two sites made free on synthasite (see below), however i have my external keyword feed to my main site ( high level window cleaners written all over my work shirts in big letters, so i figured the custies would try that 1st www.highlevelwindowcleaners.co.uk so i linked it to my www.gacontracts.co.uk site) i also have www.highlevelwindowcleaners.com on synthasite to make sure no one else gets the chance 8)
the other synthasite one i am using just now until the ecommerce site is finished is www.wfpshop.com or www.wfpshop.co.uk
as i said earlier synthasite isint to everyones taste however its a great starting point for those who at least want a site to play about with. ;)

unfortunatly i'm not very clued up on web coding. my biggest advantage is i have used photoshop for years at a professional level so i can create things and just use dreamweaver to put the pages together. If i had more time on my hands i would love to learn how to build sites from the ground up! maybe one day ;)

LOL,.. longarm.ru a very memorable website address! I'm surprised there aren't more WFP cleaners over here using the phrase in their company name!
-
Nathanael hi.
Your site is very VERY attractive. Which template did you use from templatemonster?
regards,
Vadim

This is the one I used for my own site:
http://www.templatemonster.com/website-templates/13166.html
Their templates are dead easy to works with, much better than most other template suppliers.

I built my own website:
www.southerncleaningservices.co.uk
I am going to be updating it very soon though.
