Title: Quoting from other peoples posts
Post by: LWC on March 08, 2009, 09:50:17 am
When making a quote from someone else post write AFTER the "/quote]" bit

Not before, not inbetween, AFTER

I can never tell which but youve written if you do it any other way

You can view what you want to post by hitting the preview button prior to posting; and check the quote thing is working.

Play about with it!

What matt is saying is when you write a reply after someone elses post , when you select 'insert quote, start your reply on the next line down under the word
Quote
so it looks like this.

When making a quote from someone else post write AFTER the "/quote]" bit

Not before, not inbetween, AFTER

I can never tell which but youve written if you do it any other way

hellllllllllllllllllooooooooooooooo

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

and not like this

When making a quote from someone else post write AFTER the "/quote]" bit

Not before, not inbetween, AFTER

I can never tell which but youve written if you do it any other way

Helllllllllloooooooooooooooo

as people cant work out what other peoples posts are.

Hope this makes sense.
