Title: Floor cleaning shop
Post by: *Derek* on March 07, 2009, 08:54:05 pm
Its not a carpet but i reckon ye guys would know best.

I've been asked to price for cleaning a shop floor once a week. The floor is Resin. White fleck colour.

What is procedure? What to use?

Is it just a matter of mopping with kentucky mop and once every 3 months use a scrubber?

I've never done this kind of work so any help is very much welcome..

me personally would mop the floor with a floor maintainer and then use a high speed burnisher to give floor a shine, if floor is being used whilst cleaning then just sweep and spray burnish to avoid people slipping on a wet floor left from mopping.

Thanks Trevor,

Burnish is polish right?

Use a rotary scrubber to bring polish to shine?

a burnisher is like a rotary floor scrubber but goes at a much higer speed, i use the red floor pads underneath but there are different grades of floor pads that can be used.
