Title: Tricoflex Hose
Post by: dave0123 on March 06, 2009, 06:09:39 pm
Hi Lads,

Could someone please give me some info on Tricoflex hose!

Iv only ever used microbore but i was just wondering if the tricoflex hose is just like garden hose with it being 1/2 fittings. What i mean is it stronger than garden hose? quality wise like some garden hoses you ran squeeze with your hands i was just wondering if this is a strong hose abit like microbore?

Cheers

The quality of Tricoflex is much like Microbore but in 1/2" size.  However you can get Tricoflex in 3/4" and 1".  Quite heavy though.

I use it as my transfer hose from back garden round to the front when filling my van. But not for actual cleaning. Its the bees knees for my needs as flat hose is no good for my situation as theres so many corners to go round. Probably didnt help you at all but I do use it  :)

I used to use Tricoflex. Great hose, but now use microbore. Due to its smaller size I get much less snagging. May well go back to Tricoflex but use the smaller bore as I found it to be a great product.

No probs with cars going over even 20 ton bin wagons, just watch out that its not on gravel when it's run over, Excellent flex hard wearing, bleedin' heavy though and quite expensive.
