Post by: benny d on March 05, 2009, 09:30:03 pm
Does anyone use, or know where I can get one of these over here? Looks very handy.

Thanks

Im sure I saw something similar in Wickes the other day.

I've seen them on a CC supplier site somewhere but was a bit pricey. May have been Alltec.

Brilliant idea but £60 seems a bit steep. A local fabricator or motor engineer should be able to make one for less ???

Picked one of these up at a boot sale last year for about £2, came with coasters on wheels, never used it untill last week when I was doing a kitchen in a nursing home and had to move a large range oven, proved invaluable, able to move it with no help which impressed the old guy they sent to help me.  :D

That's about their value given that all you need is 2 pieces of metal (bolted or welded together) and a set of wheels

All you need to do is pay your poor old daddy another 1s/6d a week and he will do all the lifting for you.

Luv you Bruv.

Lidl was selling something like this a while ago.  Ive one still in the box never got round to using it.

A small wrecking bar is about £10 would do the same thing and useful for wrecking stuff too.
