Mains pressure here has dropped off - So its time to buy a booster pump.
Some people are telling me to buy the ro man pump which pushes the pressure through all filters inc pre filters, and some people are telling me that I should only boost the pressure before the membraines ie use one of them 24 volt pump/transformer kits I run a 450gpd ro and not sure what pump to buy - your comments appreciated!

24 volt ones are equatic type, will not work ro-man pump is the one you want its about 200

Plumb it in between the pre-filters and membranes.

a few people/suppliers I have spoken to say that you are not to put the pre filters under any pressure ???

Matt - are they the 24v pumps?
-
Yes, it comes with the transformer.
I have one, its good bit of kit, doubled my output.
You can also alter the output, by adjusting pressure, nifty ;)

Matt - Fitted aquatec 8800 yesterday, Its now giving me 60 litres an hour 15 tds instead of 20 litres an hour 39 tds - how much more production do you think I will get if I turn the pump up? and what size allen key is it - I dont think its a metric key as I have tried 2 sets! ;D

Who knows, you need a pressure guage, dont want to blow any seals.
