Title: Brodex Hot Water System
Post by: Alex Gardiner on March 04, 2009, 05:26:11 pm
Is it just me or didn't we have 'scientific evidence' from Brodex showing why it is wrong to use hot water systems and hence why they do not sell one. Been examining their new crash test video and what do I notice featured on the right of the screen, but their new 'Flame Hot Water System' !!!! You can simply add it to any existing Brodex system (or even DIY systems) for just £3,800.

They also do a gutter-vac now as well.

I dont think there is any crashed tested hot systems on the market, ionics tanks are, and maybe brofed, none of which had a hot system fitted when crash tested as far as I can see.

So Alex are you going to be the first ??????????

We do have a new van mount system coming out very soon. We have yet to fully develop the hot water side of it, but when we do it will not be detrimental to the crash testing results.

I have to say that Brodex Vac head looks to be a dreadful design - all the bends are set at ninety degrees which means the pole is going to have to be used perpendicular to the building. Looks like it would be operated from about a foot away from the brickwork of the wall  ??? looks like it's been designed by a chimp.

Just reading their website where they are now claiming to have been building water fed poles and systems since 1998 how was it then that  the first machine they ever built was on my stand at the Cleaning Show in 2001.

Told different ?
By whom the UK patents office ?
Or by someone who says they saw it being used in Australia but can offer not a shread of proof.
Do I sense hostillity in your statement?

No mate...no hostility from me,just pointing out what you dont want to believe. Not a problem with me,but believe me you may have a uk patent but the idea was being used before that...anyway you are the one who has carried it forward into a viable business so good luck to you....and i do mean that. :)

It probably took the 3 years to build it

The Brodex system is £3800+vat but includes fitting......
The Varitech system is £2500+vat+fitting.... The cost of fitting depends on the vehicle but would be only £200 at the most.....
