We need to give a whole house a flea treatment after carpets cleaned, we've done this before by buying tins of flea/upholstery spray from the pet section in Tescos as the vets were expensive. I did talk to our chemical suppliers at the time and they say the chemicals used for cleaning the carpets would kill & remove any flea eggs. Customer insists we flea treat so is the spray tins the only option?
Any help would be great - Thanks

Extracta do a pouch of insecticide for £10.50, it's on their website. All the instructions are there, I haven't used the stuff yet but it's the only chemical/supplier I actually know of (they're friendly enough and will give you advice over the phone, ask for John or Brian). I'm doing a house next week (de-infestation). The guy told me that he was quoted £300, just for de-infestation. ::)

All the carpet needs treating but pay attention to the edges as said earlier the eggs are in the dark areas around the skirting boards and any cracks in the woodwork. They love laminate flooring too, all the eggs are in the joins !
Happy spraying ;D
