I have been cleaning windows i think is about 23 years.
Thats why im still a window cleaner as i have made myself unemployable in anything else.

Started out in 1992, after returning home from the FIRST Gulf War. I'm a chef by trade; learning to cook in the navy ( RFA ) but took up window cleaning after discovering that a civvie cook didn't earn as much as a navy cook. I love cooking but like earning a good living more ;).

thought i was old being born in 1958,Dia how old are you minium must be 65
67 next birthday. There were no squeegees around in those days, just a mop and a clean damp scrim.
No detergent allowed near either of them.
It's a shame that many window cleaners are unaware of just how good a clean, damp scrim is, had to be washed out very frequently though, and you had segs on your hands from wringing them.
