I hope you wheeled them back when you were finished with them ;D ;D ;D ;D

i have been lucky with my cart, i think i might just have a slightly longer pole hose for the cart, i really cannot see the point of a 50 M hose
-
Ive learnt to count in the last year, I was so angry with it for the first 3 months, then realised the day went better and I earnt more if I didnt take my relationship with my hose-reel too personally, it isn't that it doesnt love me, it just has a mind of its own ;D
Now I just stay calmmmm and treat it with respect ;)

Dont know how i manage it because i only pulled a little tiny bit ::)
pulled heard a bang went round the corner id only got snagged on a big 120 litre rainwater but and pulled it over............. it was like a flood plain... ;D and that was first day with the new 8mm microbore lol

Kids bicycles chucked on the ground are great, i can lasso two at a time easily. Scooters are a doddle, i can drag those back without even knowing. My favourite times are when the hose decides to kink under a wooden gate then wedges itself solid. Parked cars on the drive are such fun and of course wheely bins - i can catch those walking both ways. Eventually wind it all back up and laugh at all the cat crap i've smothered myself in. ;D ;D
There is no knack it's always a pain in the bum. But not a pain in the back like barrels are. ;D

It's often the case that you don't put out quite enough hose, and when it is short it's always just a foot short of where you want it
I hate it when it goes thru a smear of dog poo on the pavement, but you don't see it happen, or know it's happened until you get back in the van, and a smell starts reach your nose, from your hand. >:(
Nowadays I take my hose in thru a rag, cleans it as you go.
-
I pulled a bird table over yesterday ;D a massive one too - hell of a mess.
-
Sorry Folks, can't resist this.............
Backpack ;D ;D ;D
Hose OUTSIDE the pole ;D ;D ;D
EXACTLY Why I won't use Hoses ;D ;D

You see the pattern on your rug? It will get stuck on that lol
-
Used a hose for the first time a couple of weeks ago. It got stuck under a gate, so gave it a tug and it whipped around like a skipping rope and threw a potted plant about 6 feet in the air. I just stood there gobsmacked! :o
I spoke to the customer and apologised. Luckily, the plant was being thrown out. ;D
It does get better quickly - honest!
-
You need to learn each house, where to lay it, where to pull it. It takes some time, plus the hose does need a day or two to get more supple (if it's new)

changed from 50 mtrs of microbore to using a backpack
im finshing work quicker and a lot happier not having to
run the gauntlet of plant pots, wheelie bins getting snagged
on walls getting caught in gaps on kerbs steps bloody dog crap
ahhh lifes much easier now ;D

How boring is that, you should have got 100mtrs and had more fun ;D
-
Just dont go and put a motor winder on it coz you may find a car...maybe part of the house......or even a garden shed ending up at the back of your van! ;D

I HATE ROSE BUSHES

I hate:
Kids toys
garden furniture
raised steps
plant pots
car tyres
customers hoses and garden taps
the gap between bricks on the house
gates
bushes
etc

i made the post
i have a trolley and ive been very happy with it, i now have a tank in the van and sub pump the water into a emtpy drum in the trolley ( thus no more lifting, or very little lifting, only the cart in and out of the van )
i thought i would try a hose, i used it again on 1 house, it got caught on a plant pot, under a sheet of asbestos roofing, under a gate and on a rose bush
i am prepared to give it a go though, but so far its nothing but hastle
oh and ive not got sht on the hose yet, that really will be the end of it, as i love clean hands
