Anyone experienced this?
Just had to pay out £150 to have my house deinfetsed of fleas. House is only 2 years old, and the Mrs keeps it like a show house...mint. Dont have any pets, but me and kids getting covered in bites.
Had a bloke round to have a look and saw my van outside and says you must bring them home on your clothes all the time!!!
Anyone else suffer this, and have any solutions??
Thanks Dan (still scratching)

If your kids play with other kids they could have fleas from their pets.
Always come in, take off your work gear straight away and in the laundry. It's not just fleas you can bring in bed bugs and worse :o

Anyone in your house work in the cardboard industry ?.

No Glynn
I am the only worker, although my wife would say looking after me is a full time job.
I take it that their is a link between the two then?

You can get insecticide sachets from restormate for your solution tank then just do your carpets and upholstery.
Doesn't cure the 7 year itch though. ;)
The MPower popping them, is that for real or another magic water myth?

just get rid of the wife f putting up with her pmsl

Couple of months ago the wife had a blitz in our lounge and moved a heavy wicker basket to vac under it and found the carpet chewed by moths .
I assume that I must have brought them in on my clothes as we come across them from time to time.
Naturally I got the blame, especially as when I am press ganged into cleaning the carpet I never move anything and only clean the open area on the basis that the sofa`s etc are always kept in the same place.
Obviously I always move everything when cleaning everyone else`s.
It is bad enough having to clean your own carpets without getting grief from your wife. ;D

from disinfecting all your van, terrytowels everything, including changing clothes outside the house and washing them in a seperate washing machine thats located in the garage, where you would then have to shower and only then be allowed in the house naked. after a thorough check from the misses who will be overalled when doing the check, which would consist of behind your ears and a thorough check of your hair, (i knew bald would come in handy ;D)
this to be done after everyjob, every quote plus everytime you come in contact with animals.
personally i don't change and don't see the point. chances are very slim and no different to anyother job where your working in peoples homes, plumbers and leccy's are under floor boards and everything.
think your all being a bit paranoid. and if it does happen then just hit them with some spray from john at restoremate.
