Title: Caravan Upholstery

yesterday i was asked to clean a  small 2 b caravan (12 ft ) carpet and upholstery , no problem with the carpet or upholstery , but the mattresses had what looked like mould marks on them ( small black dotes ) these marks refused to move  .tryed a few different spotters still  they have not moved, but not solvents as the mattress had a pattern printed on it    The customer was happy but iam not    any help would be welcome

Sounds like some sort of damp ???

Always find that in the small caravans.

Forget it, these black marks are now part of the fabric.

Its mould damage due to a damp atmosphere. Very common in caravans and especially boats. The mould will have been feeding on the fabric so the damge is usually permanent. You could have post treated with Clensan which may have prevented problems in the future.
