5pm is my usual latest; tho' to finish a house or two to complete an area I might rarely stretch to 6pm.
-
4.30 is about the latest for me but as there was not a 4.30 vote i put 4pm
-
I try and work long days so I can take Fridays off, so in the summer I've been known to start at 5.30am and work thru to 6.30 am.
But not too often eh! ;)
-
I generally like to start 9ish and knock-off at 3ish..mind you I work most Saturdays until lunchtime.
It must be an age thing (51) but I find 6 hours graft (no breaks) is about as much as I can do these days ::)
-
I read somewhere that if you take a 5 min break after every hour, and an hour for lunch you can keep going for 11 or 12 hours.
I have found it works but only for 10 or 11 hours and then I am pretty knackered
-
9 till 4 its a game of two halfs allways need a dinner time
-
Most days I am back at my house around 15:00 - 15:30 and I normally leave my house at 09:00...
Dave.

That's only and hour, you must have some well priced work.
I had today off, why the hell do I always feel so guilty when I take a day off? I had had a good four days in, and I'm on my pension, but I feel as guilty as hell when I take a day off.

9.30 until 5pm....now its lighter... and a bit later if there is no one home on my final cleans.... they dont want to see us when preparing a meal after a hard day ;D
20 mins for lunch..no breaks. ???
-
2 days a week is normally till about 3.00 - 3.30
1 day a week i can start at 6.00 am and sometimes still be at it gone 9.00pm ( aye 15 hours ) i do pop home to see the children for a hour after school, but i can and do go back out for a few hours

D'oh that's meant to be 5.30am to 6.30pm

6 till 2 during summer 7 till 3 during winter
-
12 til 1 and an hour for lunch!!!
-
Normally when I fall asleep, working part time I would never get where I want to be.
-
Where's the 2.00 pm choice icon?
-
8 to 4 with houre for diner
-
9 till 3 that way i get to pick my kids up from school each day
-
Depends how late I start. Normally finish when I'm feeling knackered and can't wait to get home. 6hours is enough.Need the incentive to work hard to finsih early.
-
i tend to do 1 to 2- 8 plus hour days and then usually.6-7 hours of hard graft.. only time i finish early is when i work from early 7.30 am and dont stop for dinner so ive done a full day by 2-3 pm if ive worked hard... but i dont mind putting in the long days as then you get time off for friday etc and it might rain tomorrow is what i always think, so i try and work hard today so i am never caught out bad like this winter!!!!
-
start at 7 and finish at 3, if you havent had enough by then you are not working hard enough!

Its normally 930 till 330pm for us. Like to start after the school run otherwise 30 mins stuck in traffic.

Just for a laf why not run a 'how many hours a day' thread alongside a 'how much do you earn a day' thread.
from some of the fantistic sums I seen in previous threads they dont tally with the hours on this one.
personaly I reckon on 9-10 hours solid and eat bait on the go. Some work is at distances that makes it 12 hour day so I do 4 days, saves on diesel and gives me wednesdays (wheather permitting) for other persuits

I go for thursday off, or friday half day...
Know what you mean about earnings though. many post there best weeks like its an average :) however my hourly average is quite good, but its only on a 20 -30 hr week so its ok, but on a 40 hour week i reckon it will definitely drop alot.....

In the winter I work till the light goes.
One important thing about WFP that doesn't get mentioned very often is that it is less tiring than trad so I can work longer hours and do more jobs in a day.
If I was still working trad I would be seriously slowing down by mid afternoon.
-
i try to work as late as poss, but then i only work 2-3 days a week, so would probably finish sooner if i was full time. have worked till 9 before lol.
-
I generally work until 3pm although its not set in stone its more a case of doing all the work i have set for the day then i finish
I pace myself over the week same as i did when i was trad doing more work earlier in the week although with wfp if i need to do a longer day later in the week its no problem

That's why I NEED to go WFP this summer! Working Trad, I tend to slack off in the afternoon. Normal finish time at the mo is 2pm 3pm :(

quarter to 6 while half 12 and on saturdays half 6 while half 10.
-
The good thing about doing 9-3 is that it works all 12 months of the year.
Mind you today was a 4pm finish...so a 10am start tomorrow ;D
