Title: Turn off switch on trolley
Post by: SteveAllan on February 25, 2009, 12:04:32 pm
Hi all, is it ok to fit a switch to stop the water flow to save me running back to the trolley, i only ask as i am not sure what it will do to the flowmaster and pump if i stop the water at the pole.

the whole point of the flowmaster is that you can do just that, stop the water at the pole

I take it a flowmaster is similar to a varistream.

If so just put an on/off valve on your pole hose.

Not daft at all. I use a small tap on the joint between my pole hose and my microbore. The tap is set in a little holster on my belt so I can turn it on or off at will. Obviously to just move from window to window you can often more quickly pinch the hose over.
