Hi,

How many of you are there?

Id quote 70 for the outsides and 80 for the inside.

Send one man in and do the outside alone.

You'll have done 150 within 1-1.5hrs.

If you are alone then you are obviously looking at around 50 an hr (which the people who are paying you dont like) so take your time, do a good job and enjoy the money.

Dean

I reckon 2 men would struggle to complete both sides in 1.5 hrs. But £150 sounds about right.

i am a bit chaper and would say £120 MONTHLY, DUE TO THE CREDIT CRUNCH OFFICE MANAGERS ARE UNDER SEVERE PRESSURE TO CUT COSTS, i work for a large restaurant chain the area manager( A friend ) told me at the moment they are been forced to look at all outgoings and if they can save £1 they have to do it.

good luck the job would take me and 1 man about an hour and 45 mins.

Some jobs I quote square meter price (here it's between  1.5 to 2.1 quid with frames) and some on hours, Say I need 2 ppl for 2 hours = 4 hrs @ 35 quid hr 140 quid plus VAT Having said that, it's impossible to quote from a picture!!!
Hope Iv'e helped you earn your first million 8)

I would want to charge around £150 for in and out and would probably take about three hours but under current climate might be inclined to knock it down to £120 and cut a few corners to get my hourly rate

Just wondering ............ why do you guys charge so much for commercial work?
Three hours work for £150 seems a very good wage to me. Great if you can get it but doesn't it leave you very exposed to undercutting? How much does one guy need to earn in a day?

Mr Sparkle are you also Gemma6166?

You both post the same questions at the same time, religiously.

I could do with a bit of help too.I've been rung up out of the blue by a huge prestigous  concern with three large sites locally.
Can anyone help me with a risk assesment?
Method statement?
Advice on how to present the quote?

It may need a cherry picker and here i'm totally out of my depth. What costs would this add when used?

Thanks guys

You do need to rinse the glass, even commercial customers complain if there are spots and streaks on the glass, and I would charge less than £100.
