Title: Super poo
Post by: dai on February 16, 2009, 08:15:45 pm
I don't know if it's only in my area, but some bird poo this last couple of weeks is the hardest to shift that I have ever experienced.
I had to get the ladders off last week and again today, no amount of soaking and leaving helped.
With one lot today I had to go up the ladder, and then come down again to put a new blade in my scraper, and that was after soaking, I have found cement easier to get off, what the hell are these birds eating, super glue?

Why do you go up ladders if you use wfp?
I have a spare pole with a gardiners ali goosneck on and then just put a scraper on that.If you can see the crap from the ground just use a pole and scraper,of course if you cant see it from the ground...well you would not have done it anyway... ;D

Just a thought why not mix some imodium with bird food and feed it too the birds that way it will set like cement in stomachs and they wont be able to fly high enough to c**p on windows . Any way if birds didnt do it on windows would proberbly loose work its all good for business.  :)

I have a plastic ice scraper that fits on a pole, but that wouldn't touch it. Where do you get a propper bladed scraper that fits on an unger pole?

The Unger Ergotec scraper does the job.

Funny that I was only thinking that this morning.

I live right on the coast, Seagulls everywhere, I swear the bird that left this "Concrete" must be as big as albatross!
60lts and a lot of scrubbing later it was gone my arms were killing me!

It was supposed to be a quick job before breakfast... :'( :'( :'(
