Title: put in window style leaflet

Hi everyone ive seen this put in window style leaflet mentioned a few times here on the forums and about how good the feedback is from this type of leaflet. Could someone who has used this style of leaflet shed a little light on how it works and what feedback you get back.
As i'd really like to give it a go and see if i can get some new custies.

Any help would be really appreciated.

i dunno what to say to your questions. Put a leaflet through door, i write the day i will be back in red marker pen. (Normally the next day so it is fresh in their minds)
It is easier for someone to stick in window rather than phone up.

I think it works great. I get about 3/4 in 100 and so far 20 new custies in Jan for 6 hours leafletting.

I have re read some your leaflets, and at 1st i presumed you post them and then return to clean without seeing anyone, but then i realized obviously theres no way you can agree price before etc so do you post leaflets then return of an evening and knock if they are displayed or how do you go about it because even if they stick it in the window - if they arent in you cant do anything, seems like you might as well just canvass??? Or have i missed something?

in the leaflet, it says he will be back in the area on    ...............etc.

if its left in the window they want a quote, as long as the gates are not locked, he can drop a quote in.

The side that goes in the window , i put 'yes please' only, if you put clean my windows as well another window cleaner might see it and knock,
