Title: How much would you pay for training.

Had a call today from a company offering training in Stone floor cleaning and polishing, its a days course and its £500 plus vat....seems alot of money to me, would you pay that much?

You will find with the slowdown there will be many companys offering these type of training set ups ::)

this is a tricky question, I spent £95 on a stain removal course and learnt nothing I've done this quite a few times. if I added it all up I might have spent ( or maybe wasted) £500 on crap training courses.

but how much can you learn in 1 day? enough to justify a price of £500? I don't think so.

I guess the idea is how much it's worth to you when you apply what you have learnt.

If you charge less than CC, or it doesn't get you into some nice homes you wouldn't have got into then it probably isn't worth it.

Then you've got the what you could LOSE factor if you don't do the training and feel you can blag it only to make costly damage.

Then there's the piece of paper you get at the end of the course which to some is very important for lots of reasons.

i wouldn't pay that for a hard on course never mind a hard floor. ;D

At least they practice what they preach and quite a few dollar millionaires are a product of their 'system' I'm sure. :)

Talking of which.............just read a comment about Tesco moving their admin operation to India and I know that RBS are outsourcing jobs to India.
