hi do not use gg4 and fairy ,your wasting the gg4 ,
mix gg4 15ml and 5ml of squeegie off to get some suds ,
carry a small dispenser off diluted squeegie off just to keep up the suds , but not to much ,
or use ecover washing up liquid .
window cleaning warehouse is cheapest for nearly everything
use microwipes ettoree , one wet ,one dry from wintecs. best  tried so far
hope this helps mate

As said before applicator etc , as for rubbers i use pulex medium i think , some say soft in winter ettore , because of temp affecting rubber , blade size most of time 12inch , . you need to practice , slow at first get technique right , i used to practice at home , make sure rubber is not damaged makes abig differance , i was lucky ihave worked with some good window cleaners , see if you can spend a day with a windowcleaner , we have all been there , failing all that im sure there are courses you can go on , practice master. , all best bob.

SmEARS , when you applicate if its sunny plenty of water , try not to hit top of frame on window good tip, wipe round so it dont drip , when you get better you can leave a small gap  . as you blade the water will cover the gap , also the reason for smears scrim could be touching window , the less you have to touch window after blading the less mess you leave , also could be down to blade slipping , in winter dont wet window as much . , if you look through all the old threads you will find loads of useful information , keep at it , and you get there in the end .
