Title: Main contractor discount??

Hi Guys,

I'm in the middle of quoting for a builders clean and wondering what I should offer for a main contractor discount?? They specify in the details that they would like one but what should I offer?? 10% 20% ???

Paul just ignore it and put your price in we do and they never mention it to us

Just for reference it used to be a flat 5%, some will take it off your final bill anyway and assume that if it was not stipulated then it was built in, so be careful.

Main Contractot Group, look for 5% of which companies such as Kier are a member of.

Hi
We work for a lot of the major developers, and have done tenders for some that we do not deal with as yet.....none have ever asked for or mentioned a major contractors discount.
They have always asked for a 5% retention etc.....but we always so No to that (which they have never argued with)
