Title: High level gutter cleaning
Post by: Richy L on February 09, 2009, 11:09:20 pm
hi guys,
I have been asked to quote for a job clearing the gutters on a site.
there is approx 600 mtrs at an average of 30 ft. The guttering is box guttering so on average about 7 inches deep by about 10 inches. it will have to be done from cherry picker.
Some of it has little trees growing out of it(6 ft trees) at 40 ft

I have an idea on price and time, but i wanted to see if my pricing is out. ive never priced a job this big before.

Does anyone have any idea how much i should be charging and how long it will take?

Thanks

Richy

there are 5 different buildings, access is akward on about a quarter on it.

Ive had a power acces company assess it and they said i will need a 65 foot boom.
I guess i'll need a skip on site to offload all the muck.

Also, quite a few overhead wire that will be a pain.

this is 600 metres mind, 1,800 foot. You think it could be done in 2 days?

How about now?

I haven't seen the job - we did 470m today - one day no worries.

Yes 60 ft boom, difficult access on two sides. The rest no problem. Good surface a few drains to navigate but no problem. Could keep in raised position most of the time except to empty basket. easy - but we do have some excellent tools too.
