I would of thought you would give more than 10% off

We have always had a recommend a friend.

If the customer recommends a friend they get 50% off their next clean. If they recommend two they get a free clean.

yeah, you could do a 50% discount, but make it a stipulation that you give the discount when you get work from the person they recommend you to, you wont really be out any money that clean as you will have a new customer that your charging which will help offset the 50% discount, and then you will be "up" on the next clean

I've never posted a leaflet on here but I have been leafleting for the last month and have had a superb response from the leaflets put out.

500 leaflets dropped one day two weeks ago and to date I have 10 or so new cleans booked in - when the weather lets me clean them.

Our 'Your windows were cleaned today' our leaflet has a small section at the bottom and this offers people the choice to tell us if we have not offered a good clean.

The line reads - I was not happy with my clean today because ............................................ , This line was put in to allow people communication with me if we fail to give a decent clean. No one is perfect!!!

The next line is I am interested in having another service............................................ . This line is for them to add conservatory roof cleaning, pressure washing and UPVC

The third line is the recommend a friend line and this reads.

I have a friend who is interested in having their windows cleaned, thier name, address and phone number is...................................

Does this help

Arhhh  very well spotted!
(in hindsight that was a mistake!)

That is where my sales pitch comes in..
I cross out 10% with pen and put 50% or more!
This way I always look generous! 8)

If someone offered me 10% I would just laugh! ;) ::)
