No offence intended, but, how much experience do you have in cleaning carpets ? If it's not much, why not farm out the work to a local c/c and go along as a helper to gain an insight into the commercial side of the industry.

A little apprehensive to tell you what I would charge because of the potential fall out,  :) ;)

It does depend really on the area, does furniture have to be moved? if not and you cleaning around desks, computers etc how far apart are they ? " cluttered working areas always a premium price in my eyes".  what method will you be using ? and numerous other factors.
my price , for a large area , open space   as little as £1.00 per sq yd  using encap , now you will have to adjust accordingly . What systems have you at your disposal/

My commercial rate varies from about 50p through to a nursing home next week @ £4.50.

As for "How to clean it" you've told us what the soil is, what about all the other details and what equipment do you have?  I suspect that if you had the appropriate equipment, you wouldn't be asking the question.

What formal training have you had?

This all may sound a little harsh, but if you want to play big boys games..............

Safe and happy cleaning :)

Hi Guys

Newclean, can you tell us what equipment you are planning to clean with, HWE , low moisture etc.

As the guys have said there is no going rate, depends a lot on how much they want you and how much you want them !

Cheers

Doug
