In these icy conditions. Maybe wear golf shoes to work? :) No seriously.........i aint tried it yet but can't see why they wouldn't be a godsend. Secondly, i hear spraying antifreeze the night before a big freeze stops the ice forming. Don't know how true that is,but once again....maybe worth a try. Hope this helps ;)

There is a night before de-icer, I bought some and totally forgot i had it till you just reminded me.

Absolutely, I hope he ment to say screenwash.
Antifreeze is very bad for your paint, Antifreeze is for engine coolant, screenwash is for the windows, big difference.
