Title: Just because there was snow on the ground.
Post by: geefree on February 03, 2009, 11:12:39 pm
Had a decent day today, snow everywhere but it was sunny , so i worked...

no probs all day ..

until a lady asked if i could leave it today , as her back window sills were forming icicles, so if i did her windows, it would freeze and she may slip....!

Ok, normally that is fine.... but this old dear never goes out,
and under the windows, is a foot of snow, !!...

i said , its fine if you would prefer me to leave them due to the weather.... but the water is falling on to snow.... which is slippy too.

Dump her ??????

i would normally.... but i think i must have looked a little odd to people throwing water everyhere in the snow  ;D

just thought i would share that nonsense. ;)

Yes I was out in the snow , I didnt think it was that cold to be honest , I had ten min;s to start trying to get water out the brush but after that off I went working.

nice driving about in north wales as the roads was pretty clear with traffic - the essex boy racer come out in me a few times when I floored the van going along the snow - good fun going sideways like a rally driver with 500 Ltrs on board  ;D

I've had a good day today too. Didn't have to worry about any snow. Got this done, nice and steady away.
