I have been asked to clean an ESD treated floor at a new office i have taken on, would I need a special product or would a light detergent be good enough on the floor?

Hi there,
Indeed you will need some special chemical.
Do not under any circumstances use any other chemical on this floor or you could lose the conductivity of the floor. An ESD Floor is designed specifically for electronic components so there is no damage which can b done through static electricity.
Here is a link... there are other suppliers I am sure..

You are also best telling them depening on the freqeancy of the clean you may need to charge a little extra due to the cost of the special chemical required and show them. In detail and the reason behind it. Otherwise you could be asked to replace the floor... tha could be expensive.
Hope it helps
