Hi all
I have just got hold of a very old machine called an ELITE 2000, from Ashcombe International ( Now Alltec) It is a MONSTER, HUGE! I just wondered if anyone new its spec, what size pump etc. It has twin vac and sounds like concorde taking off. I'm going to put it in my spare van and try to use it as a T/M as even Arnie would struggle to lift it! Any info would be great.
Many Thanks
J

Think its from 1992 r around there ???
Was really long if am right with didgital pads for the controll panell
-
thats the one! dont think it can be called a porty, far to heavy. What on earth was it built for?
-
I used one for a year or so in the 90s,think it was v low to the ground and v long, they went on to call it the quad as they used it as a 4 vac set up,think the saunders brothers from alltech didnt go ahead with the model ???
It took two of us to load it onto van lol.
You will have to post some picies :)

Was that the one which they took out around 1999 or 2000 called it the Millennium, it had quad vacs but was'nt a success really.
-
Yes your right there :)
Think the elite 2000 became the millenium and had for vacs not sure why it did not take off,i used one at a cleaning company here in stockport whio had one.
Think there was probs with the use in houss with it with the electrics.
Didnt get one as went for dyr fusion at that time.
Wonder if any one has one ???

Clinton,
It probably couldn't take off 'cos it was too heavy ;D ;D ;D

Collin ;D

it is bloody heavy, but does seem very powerful! I think in my spare van used as a T/M is the best option.

Being old myself I can remember them , talk about a white Elephant the correct name for them was the “Coffin”. brilliant machine if the customer has a 3 pin plug over their cooker (not may of those left today)
Joking aside they are great if you want to use it as a semi demountable, Get yourself a water tank with a element and heat the water over night and hey presto you have a cheep Bane system.

The ServiceMaster bloke in Luton had 1.
We used to call it the 2 man bobsleigh, cos thats what it looked like.
Murky
-
It was as big as my coffee table was about 4 ft long at least :)
-
I'll sort out pics. Anyone know what size pump she has, probably same sort of pump that would have ran the Titanic!
-
Dont think it had a massive psi as i rememeber just 100 maybe ???
Be good to see some picies.
Think it was ahead of its time in the mid to late 90s think its was 1997 or 1998 when it came out and not the early 90s as i thought :)

Extracta brought a machine out simular in the early 80's called the Auto max, twin 7" vacs with auto pump out a monster of a machine!
I can still feel the murmir in my left testicle as I think about it :o
Ask Glynn about them, I believe he still had hair when they were popular ;D

Dont remember that one thank god am too young and was feeling old with all the chat about the giant elite :)
