Title: white sofas
Post by: R-CLEAN on February 01, 2009, 06:54:47 pm
hi all,

av recently done a couple of white sofas and they were very dirty had all sorts of muck on them from every day soiling to drops of tea etc.

i was just wondering if anyone could give me some usefull tips on cleaning white sofas and any good products to use on them because i felt like i wasn't getting very far. i wasn't happy with the results. I did tell the customers that the results will not be 100% with it being white.

or do they never clean up probably.

also av heard micro splitters are good for upholstery and was thinking about getting some

thanks Ralph

I did a pale suite a month ago, used microsplitter in the main but Solutions Heavy Duty on the real bad parts.  Light spray, agitated with microfibre mitt, extract, and a towel.

What proceedure are you following. Some specifics like which fabric would also help.
For extraction I like Pure clean. If it's a do or die situation I may use Powerburst. In some cases you will find you are not going to get all the soil or stains out. Idealy you will have told the customer that you can improve it then explain what the limitations are. I always look at suites before taking them on. It gives me a chance to manage the custy's expectatins, and gives them a chance to say no thanks.
