Hi peeps i am from the carpet cleaning side of this forum,my wife has a few commercial office cleaning jobs, which she does on a weekly basis, job involves vaccing, wipe down desks, clean monitors, skirting boards, clean kitchens, clean bathrooms.
She is currently charging £13 p/hr which includes materials, she has just been asked to take on another building 2 x sets of toilets ,small kitchen etc ,is she on the money at £13 an hour ? or should she up it ? it`s on the same sit as the others so it won`t incur extra travel

Although the prices differ with each area, i would say your not far off.

We quote for the job, not for a set number of hours.
This is how we prefer to work, although others are happier with the number of hours route - it's whatever suits you at the end of the day.
We had one customer in the early days who used their alarm system as an unofficial clock-in/clock-out system, querying when we were in for 1hr 50min instead of 2hrs and (typically) avoiding the initial cleans where we were there for 3hrs+.
We stress it's to do "the job" to our standards, which should exceed theirs. The time we take to achieve this is is irrelevant as some days we may have more staff on than others.
Just food for thought.
Good luck.

I have had Offices to clean in the past, and what I said the them is "it's a minimum of 2hrs" because there would be times when I would only do 1hr 50 mins.
