First I was afraid,I was petrified,
tried to clean her sisal, wish I'd never tried,
it's shrunk to half the size, dried patchy as can be,
Now I wish I'd never called,'cause now she's blaming me!!

Go on now go,walk out the door,
just turn around now,'cause your not welcome anymore,
you tried your very best, but it just didn't go to plan,
and now she's on the phone, she's calling her old man!!

Go on now run,run out the door,
her husband's  18 stone,and also 6 foot 4,
he's coming home to see,the damage that youv'e done,
and when he's through with you,you'll wish you'd run,run,run!!!

 ;D ;D Very good!

I recently did the bar area in a popular seaside pub and whilst there two carpet fitters where fitting this stuff in the lounge, main hallway and snug. Except the hallway there will be food and drinks served. I asked the landlord why he had chosen sisal. His reply was it was very hard wearing and would last a long time. I reminded him over the last 10 years I'd periodically cleaned the carpets he was replacing and to my knowledge they were down for sometime before I cleaned them. He agreed 15 years was more like it! Now whilst I did mention there was little he could do to clean it he was convinced it was the right move. I bet he will change his mind when the first load of red wine/beer/gravy or worse hits the deck. This is also on a through fare to both toilets (it's even in the ladies  :o) and direct route to the kitchen. I can't see it lasting 12 months as it will look dreadful, whilst his wool carpet was serviceable for another 5 years.  Ok, I might  ;) have a slight grudge against sisal because I will not go anywhere near it and this has cost me a few quid but what is this stuff good for?

Even that would smoke like hell and stink up the neibourhood :D

I think you could use it for cows to walk on in and out of fields, give them traction ;D

Edward,
sisal and water don't go, but can be cleaned with some success with a dry cleaning powder.

Saying that craftex have produced this

http://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/0083/SubProducts/0083

I have not used it, but it is designed for sisal and is green too.
