Just wondering if anyone has had experience of the said article. They rang and boasted that it's the lightest 30 footer of it's type out there. Can see my 34 foot facelift getting shorter & shorter with clamp changes 'n all, and at £730 or whatever, a cheaper alternative seems attractive.

Iv`e got the 57ft carbon one on order, they are`nt in stock at the moment but i`m really looking forward to it,with removable sections that`s going to be ideal ;D

i used my hydra 36ft today for the first time , its actually approx 34ft , its very rigid and the sections remove easily so you can use it as a shorter pole if you want , the collapsed length is not the shortest , but its a very good pole and comes with 1 yr guarantee so i would say give it a try i think its very good value regards alan

Hi, just noticed this thread, thanks for your comments, always glad of feedback. We’re very proud of the Hydra, we’ve put a lot of thought and effort into it.
Yes, we are at the cleaning show - stand G6. I’d be happy to send you some free tickets (or anyone else who’s interested). Please email me at daniel.jones@brodexgroup.com and I can send you a datasheet too.
Regards
Daniel

£323 for the 31ft carbon fibre seems a good price, although it's closed length seems longer than the SLX, but at least it's in stock and probably wont be sold out in the first hour ;D

i bought a 60ft pole some time back and when you have it fully extended its nearly impossible to control... the new ones have a 30 day return and they pay postage if you aint happy
-
There to long when closed that`s what puts me off them.
-
Just ordered! Thought it best to go for a couple of angle adaptors rather than the alloy gooseneck for purposes of weight & closed height reduction. Hope they remember when despatching.
Gary.
