Got a one off to do later in the week which I havent looked at yet but the customer says there is a lot of limescale from their overflow pipe leaking down onto downstairs window.
Will normal limescale removal products such as cillit bang work on it?
Cheers

OK ta will give that a go.
The guy I work with said he didnt think it would come off but I thought something must do it.

watch if its brown coloured UPVC though, it can cause it to fade

To me that sounds as if its been leaking for months and months chances are its eaten its way into the glass

you will still be able to clean the limescale off though, which does improve the appearance of the glass

Cillit Bang is good, I use it all the time but its not that good on heavy incrusted limescale because its only domestic strength. Still works well though but you have to spray and leave for a while then spray some more.
