I started in May, straight off with a 650 ltr wfp set up, I have on average 120 custys a month which Ive gained mainly from leaflets and recomendations, now ive started a new year how much extra work would I normally get from now as i have a customer base so recomendations should be extra plus im going to put out 10,000 leaflets that are being delivered to me Tuesday then a distributor will be putting them out for me over a week or so.
How well did you do going into a new year?

January and February are the best times for getting qualiy customers.
I think growth will be slower at the moment, but if you are actively seeking work it will grow much quicker.
I personally am not looking for new work as I bought another part round of quality work from a retiring window cleaner yetserday.
I now have to concentrate on keeping my customers well serviced, I have approx 550 domestics on a 5/6 week round.

i have a good established round, but my minimum target of growth is 5 customers a week,
i dont like growing too quickly as first cleans take a lot longer!
i went door knocking today and had 8 new customers ;D

chris if you want too grow quickly advertise for a canvasser , pay them well and your business will take off , i started just under 2 years ago and my round is now worth £4500 to £5000 a month , looking to double that this year good luck regards alan

Prestige how many days does your canvasser work.

i leave it up to him , i lost 1 guy but the 1 i,m using now is a single parent and he is currently bringing in about £300 of new work a month and its top quality and priced at £1.25 per window all village work which i prefer , he is going to speed up when the clocks change , i tell him which day on want the work on and he comes out with me and shows me where it is he also collects the money or writes out the chits i pay him extra for this other wise i could,nt get that many first cleans done in a day regards alan
