Title: thermobore hose

How many of you are using Gardiners thermobore hose and how good is it ? We used airline hose for a while but it was heavy and tended to stick on corners etc. Now we use microbore which runs freely and is light so Im wondering which of two the thermobore is like.

I take it you've got a heated system? I've got a cold system and use 60m of minibore on two separate hose reels, although the minibore that I've got looks the same their made by different manufactures and I've found that when the temperature is below freezing one variety of minibore seems to freeze before the other. I was also looking at the thermobore hose and was wondering if it would act as extra insulation and prevent cold water from freezing in your hose when working?

Thanks Simon, looks like there aren't many using the thermobore. One good thing about it is it comes in 100mtr coils. Maybe Alex G might give us some info.

ive got thermobore and its well worth the extra money, i tried using my old hose and because it wasnt made for the heat it swelled up and went stretchy which was a pain when trying to drag around corners.

thermobore doesnt do that and it holds in the heat better
