Title: How much new work this week
Post by: simbo on January 24, 2009, 03:45:30 pm: I think its about time we had a positive post away from all the doom and gloom, so here goes. How much new work have you picked up this week? crap week for me due to weather but picked up one returned to uk customer £25 one £12 one £25 one £20 and one upvc job £150 3 carpet cleans total £200 and turned down 2 as too far to travel!
now my phone was dead all over xmas and up to now and i was begining to get really down but there is still a lot of work to be had and to me this week just proves that.

Post by: jaykie on January 24, 2009, 03:49:19 pm: I got a £24 a month new job 1st clean was £65 as wanted con roof done too, got a 2x£10 4 weekly, £18 4 weekly, £15 8 weekly, £15 4 weekly and a £320 a month job that im doing with someone on this forum, and just got 2 calls for jobs to price on Monday. Also viewed a School on thursday quote going in on Monday.

i am sick of hearing about all we are losing, we lose all the time and usually re- gain. I lost over 25K of work in april and it hurt but was never going to have forever anyway.
my point is bis still grows and i might be in line for a much larger contract soon also.

1 at £11 - 6 weekly
1 at £30 - 6 weekly.
Best week for new work I've had in quite a long time.
