Title: What way to price
Post by: Brendan B on January 21, 2009, 07:21:53 pm

Gud Day

Just wondering if you folk charge by area or do you charge per room?

And if its not to cheeky to ask what do you charge for area/room?

I have had 2 leaflets recently though the door and both of them have there prices on there and are prices per room!

Cheers

Whichever works best for you 8)

I charge by sqM.

As for how much, it varies according to the job/soiling level/system/access/logistics etc. I ain't telling ya my base price :P

Safe and happy measuring :)

So there's no max size room on the leaflet then, or does it say from?

with leaflets easiest for the customer to understand is a price per room,  just put on the bottom;

based on an average 3 bedroom house @ £2.80/m2.
Before we start cleaning we will measure the room
and give an exact price

On one leaflet it did say average size room but on the other it basically said, living room £40, dining room £35 etc etc

Now what i done today was i called the number on the second leaflet and said i was interested in getting my living room cleaned, i said on the leaflet your price is £40 is that for a max size for that price as my living room is quite big, and his response was "just you leave the size of the room to me!!!".
