James
Could be he new texatherm there again dont think mark would let that company sell them for him ???
Just a guess mind you.
Could be a 3 vac with heater and a steam all in one ???
-
Thats my son James, he wants to play in a band and play football for England!
-
i have seen this new machine and it is called '' AIR FLEX'' it will come in 3 versions one of them with an heater it has 3 vacs and is 600psi and 2inch hose it is a nice blue /grey color and is fairly large im hoping to buy one in 3 weeks or so.
-
Be interested in any further details. Recently in touch with Alltec and I mentioned i'd heard they were due to launch a triple vac but Tony was rather tight lipped. Have not been that way for sometime, anyone had a sneaky peak??

Does anybody no how much they are.
-
Maybe it's the Aussie 1200 psi beast.................
-
I was chating to rob saunders yestarday about the alltec set up :)
Think its for sale week on friday :)
Chated to tony last month n think its coming around 2500 with no hoses tools.
Has three vacs and a heater and a 600 pump.
Must say i might get it for a portie and use my others as back ups :)

It sounds the perfect machine the only thing is dont want to be used as a guinea pig big pump 3 vacs and a heater its a lot to cram into a machine as always with new machines there is always teething problems.I seen the Powerflight Perfect Heat PFX 1350 for the fist time in the flesh on tuesday its the best looking machine ive ever seen has anybody got one and are they any good there is a place selling them for £1995+vat and they are throwing in a Sebo 36 vac for free sounds a good deal.
-
Hi Darren
I've had a pfx1350 for about 6 months now, its a very good machine.I've had a couple of problems but that's sorted now.Plenty of constant heat, no need for COLD WATER rinsing!!. Customers are taken a back when they see the size of it.

jmj do you use the wonder wand or just a standard wand with it does it have a preheat or is it normal heater.cheers Darren
-
Darren if I know Alltec it will be very well thought out. Just had a pump and heating element put in pro plus and the engineer said it was one of the best laid out machines he'd worked on. There will probably be fans on board for cooling, the only thing that concerns me is if they are using grp for the body it will be bloody heavy! Just have to wait and see i've been tottering between the perfect heat and a scorpion, the Alltec makes the choice a harder one with the triple vacs and heat and it may give it the edge for me.

This sounds like a fantastic machine, I may well be interested as long as it fits in the van. Having realised the benefits of an extra 35 psi to my exel, I think even more psi with the extra lift will wow my customers even more.
The good thing about GRP is that it is so much easier to fix if it produces a split. If you're bothered about the weight, join a gym ;D ;D ;D
-
If Alltec bringing out a porty with 3 vacs, heat and a pump, will be interesting to see what they doing with the electrics.
-
I was thinking the same thing Joe but i think it was only a matter of time before somebody brought this spec of machine out thats why i would rather wait 6 months and listen to the feedback and reliability of the machine but i think 2inch vac is the way to go.
-
Maybe it has 3 2 stage vacs ! what type of pump? what type of heater ?
i would have thought something would have to give, to be run on 2 leads.
Weight would be interesting too, compared to the manageble scorpion at 85lbs
Cant really compare it till we know the exact spec and price.

I use a standard twinjet wand and single jet, not tried using the wonder wand set up.I'm unsure how much water it would use!!I did previously own a cfr altra 1000psi and the glide wand worked very well, but because it recycled the water it didn't matter how much you used.

WOW!!
3 vac motors, high psi pump and heater what more could you want!!
The current crop have one of these components missing,no heater or only 2 vacs.
I started with a steameasy 200 70psi pump and single vac some 15 years ago.It would be interesting to see the difference between old and new.How much cleaner would the carpets be?
My customers were i think more then happy with results back then!
Could you compare a machine like this to maybe a first generstion truckmount?
joe

I have been using the wonder wand and it really does reduce drying times
-
When i spoke to tony he was saying the machine came in around 2500 also you would want 2" hose.
There all 3 stage vacs.
Think form the ampage it might have extra cable maybe am not sure.
The thing with alltec is they do research and dont just put an extra vac in withought thought.
Wont be much heavier with the extra vac.
Also remmember there will be times you wont want to run the extra vac etc.
Didnt get a chance to see it mind you but guess it willl be like the advantage maybe sharing a swith with the heater ???
-
Alltec, I have been told, have been putting triple vacs to order in both the Advantage and the Advance for quite some time. If this is true, then they've had plenty of time to develop the the machine. I suspect it will be good from day one.
The early Advantage had an either/or arrangement for the heater and used just one cable. Turn the machine off and the heater worked. Turn the machine on and the heater went off. After a while, they went over to two cables so the heater could be on all the time. I'm wondering if they could be using this system again. I'm no electrican, but 3 cables from a machine doesn't feel right and could possibly be a logistics problem. Many two cord machines have been known to be pushing the amperage limit on some ring mains.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Do you mean the one they used in the film Cool Running? Even "Uncle Buck" himself fitted in that machine ;D
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Hi Guys
I specifically ordered my Advantage a few years ago with two leads as I am a great believer in heat.
I would suspect the 3 vac machine would probably allow two vacs plus heater, or 3 vacs but only a guess.
If three leads then almost the same a using an inline heat exchanger.
Cheers

Better getting the van signed up - more people going to see it.
-
I think I would rather upgrade to a truckmount than mess about with all the cables.
-
It's hardly a chore setting cables up unless your a ham fisted gimp ;D
-
Colin, ham fisted no ;D,
Solution hose, vacuum hose, 3 cables for machine, cable for electric sprayer, cable for envirodri, Iwould spend more time skipping than carpet cleaning ;D
-
Derek
You forgot the bucketing when using a porty, clean water then dirty water.
Thats the bit I miss the most - NOT
-
I agree with Gimp Boy ;D
You also have filling and emptying, less heat (which makes a big difference), vacuuming and agitation is sometimes optional ::), but apart from that there's not much in it.
-
You forgot turbo dryers Derek ;D
I'm sure it would be crap for you guys to go back to using a porty, but as I don't know any different, I'm happy plodding away 'til I can afford a TM.... From acorns and all that!!!!
-
Mike you are correct, I forgot the vacuum cable ;D
