Hi all
i prefere fan jets as they cover more of the window and seem better for rinsing

Me as well. You will find though that more people will prefer pencil jets, because most brushes are supplied that way by suppliers that find them easier to produce.

it all depends whether you are rinsing on or off the glass . i rinse off the glass and started off 1 year ago with fans and changed to pencils 3 months ago and i wish i had changed sooner. You can work much quicker with pencils rinsing off the glass due to the weight of water pulling the dirty water down the glass. If rinsing on then fans are best but you need to use loads of water for it to work properly.

I think it all depends on which brush you are using.
I used a Salmon with fan jets, rinsed on.
I loved it but it still left spots some of the time.Never had a complaint though or lost a customer and used it for at least 3 months.
Been using Gardiners Supalite mono dual trim for about 4 months, always rinse on, perfect, but it takes longer as only 2 pencils. Next brush I get will be the same again but either a custom made 4 pencil or fans.

I found that 4 pencil jets ott, monofilament swivel brush, suits my work better.

My choice was based on the rinsing qualities of one type compared to the other on hydrophobic glass, theres no competition, fans it is.
-
Ive tried both and though i do agree that fans do give a good cover of the window when the brush is on, but they're too messy imo to rinse off.

Yeah must agree fan jets can be a bit messy you have to watch above the frames

Dont know , try them, emporium have but its on a bxxxy flocked brush.

Make up a 4 pencil/fan jet brush. It's easy enough to do. That way you can space them out equally and not where the suppliers fit them which is b*****ks for rinsing quickly.
