Today cleaned a dralon suite no problems with bases or back cushions but seat cushions on the sofa and both chairs were quite grubby. After cleaning using Prochem Fabric restorer only slight improvement. Have cleaned many dralon suites over years and always had good results but not in this case. Tried various products including Citrus Gel and Laundry soap but while customer appears happy with result suite still slightly damp when I left so have to wait until completely dry for final verdict. I Wasn't so happy. Customer advised me suite cleaned 18 months ago but she wasn't happy with results or service cleaner was apparently drunk! Any ideas or comments or similar eperiences welcome.

Try Micro-splitters. Brilliant!
Wouldn't use anything else much on upholstery. If that doesn't work , then I don't know what else will !

Agree 100% Bryan.
Went to clean a couple of sofas today. The guy phoned me up a couple of days ago, and said they weren't too badly stained. When I got there, one was in a fairly reasonable condition, but the other was something else. This bloke lives on his own and tells me he holds regular parties there, as if I'd never have guessed.
There were disgusting stains all over the thing. It must have been about twenty years old, and looked fit for the dump. After a severe going over with no 2 solution, it came up a treat. There were one or two areas where it was beyond help, but overall the result was very good, and the customer was delighted. Just got to go back and do the lounge carpet on Friday, if I can get to see it underneath all the 'single white male' clutter.
It's been a great week so far. Vomit, blood and a single male pig sty. I'm certainly attracting them. That's some leaflet I must have just put out. :(

personally i find fabric restorer is a better prodict on fabrics with a pile form.

did you give the product a dwell time,agatation,what did you use to rinse the fabric???

If the Dralon is a lighter colour, especially the mink/champagne/oyster type of shade, it looks awful when wet as the cotton backing has absorbed moisture, so the fabric will not look at it's best until dried. I find this is less of an issue with the CFR tool. If the problems are soiling based, follow the advice above.
A problem solver I have used on many fabrics, including Dralon is the good old Shampoo/Fibre buff/Oxybrite remedy prior to rinsing.

Do you use the fibre buff etc after the clean ( I presume using m/m) or do you clean with this solution then rinse.

After a pre spray of my Fineline, rather than agitate seperately, I'll use a sponge loaded with the shampoo/Oxystuff foam to agitate with and work the foam in at the same time. Because a shampoo solution isn't free rinsing, I use Fibre and Fabric Rinse. I have never, to date, had any problem with fibre or fabric bleaching/fading when working in this way as the product isn't present in the fabric for very long. But it's always wise to test first, use a waterproof drop sheet to protect the floor covering and watch out should any foam find it's way outside your working area. It could cause colour loss. I have had this happen to my own clothes >:(

Tried Nicks Solutions after using Fab Restorer but no real improvement

Yes Plenty of dwell time after agitation with tampico brush. Fibre and Fabric Rinse used to rinse.

Suite is Light Colour and first cushions cleaned were dried with air mover and did look lot better the longer they dried.
Never tried oxybrite remedy but will practice on a few old dralon cushions
Again thanks to all for your comments I will let you know what happens when I speak to customer and check how suite has dried.
