I have one and is great, the only thing I don't like is the charging terminals, they are very fragile but can easily be changed for more heavy duty type ones.

Somewhere to store your RO water as its made, prior to decanting it into your containers.

Such as a couple of 200 litre water butts.

but i am worried about it

No need to worry mate, its the best move I did.

so a water butt would be good then does it need to be by electric point

You'd want 2 butts ideally.

Youd need electric if you wanted to run a booster pump for your RO, I do, but thats because this Friday Im getting a van mount fitted, which is bigger capacity, so more water, need to make it quicker.

it all sounds so technical.. so its not necassary to need power then

Well, you need to charge your battery up daily, you need power for that.

PureFredom sell the 25 litre barrels.

Youll need to stand the water butts on something so that you can sit the barrels under the tap to fill them, I have mine sat on 2 sets of 2 breeze blocks, so 4 blocks under each butt, 2 on each side.

ok dokey so what about in cold weather did yrs freeze up..

I had one day off this winter with the freeze we had. The water in the water butts needed 'nursing' as well as all the pipework and taps on the butts and my RO.

But one day lost with temps of -12 in the back garden overnight isnt too bad.

It depends on your TDS reading, if it's in the 50's you could go DI only and have no waste.
I am not on a meter, but if you give your TDS reading others on here will give you some idea.
I spend under £1 a day on resin costs.
