Try the following -

Parkers online - http://www.parkers.co.uk/vans/used-prices/Plates.aspx?model=289

Glass's Guide Online - http://www.glass.co.uk/?prtid=uk44b8ucen&gclid=CKLPzImClpgCFQ6wQwodYzVFmg

Have a look at some 'completed listings' on eBay to see what they actually SOLD for.

Have a wrod with you local car auction centre - they will will give you an idea of what to expect if you sold it through their auction. This will give you an idea of 'bottom book' value or 'trade price'

Have a look in your local Auto Trader - ring a few sellers and ask if the van is still for sale....if it is, then its too expensive!

Prices of cars and vans are dropping like stones at the moment I'm so sorry to say  :(

The figure that your after probably isnt far off what its worth. Bearing in mind the marketplace at the mo.

Hi Gary.
I rang you the other night as I've got my berlingo for sale.
I have been to the fiat dealer today in Stafford to seal the floor of my new van and he had a 54 plate Scudo in white on the forecourt with a price tag of £5995.00 plus vat
But things are really slow at the mo either give it away at whatever your highest bid is or hang on to it, things will improve (I hope)

Hi Tony

Have you sold your beringo yet, nice speaking to you the day.

Been looking at autotrader & the van alone is worth 4k.

I may go down  the domestic route with it if does not sell sunday. Been offered a domestic round but price steep nearly 6 times monthly. Noway would i pay that. Lost another job this week 500+ per month that was a big hit

Hi Gary,
Good to talk to you also.
Andrew also offered 3K for my van and system, I think he needs to get out more!
If you can I would keep your van and go down the domestic route, it's far better cashflow and when the commercial picks up, you could sell the van with the domestic business. If you have employees they could always canvass for the work and keep the first clean as a bonus.
That said as long as you stay off my patch!!!!!!!
Still got my berlingo, will pick up the new one when this sells. May have to give it away (not to you though Andrew!)
Catch you soon.
Tony

what year is it
I think this quote is the best one on here, I cant comment on the price nor can others till we know what year it was made, as the van will have more value than a second had system, also you say commercial tank (what size is it) and what ios the payload of the van ?

you may have more luck and less time wasters if you answer these very simple questions, you should have mentioned these at the start.

Offer it on E-bay as a business deal. Ready to work etc. Some newbie will jump at it.

Please don't sell it to anyone who comes from Pinner however, that the only condition.

i bought a 53 plate vivaro two years ago for £4200 with 35k miles so i would say the vehicle is worth a lot less then 4k.

it is a buyers market at the mo i was recently selling my car and i looked on autotrader and there were vehicles for sale for £4500 to £2000 range.
all simaler in miles and and vehicle range so it shows how big a difference people have on the value of there vehicles.

i think you should not think what is its value(has your unlikely to get but what are you willing to sell it for??

Thanks for the comments, i feel the van is worth more the poles & system, including fitting, pole carrier & speedliner floor are worth that alone.

The price is inclusive of vat, asking price is £4k + vat, i was hoping for nearer 5k, but not with current market.

If i do use it & set up a domestic round, i,ll keep away from Pinner where ever that is Vince.

Thanks for that.

I,ll speak to you soon about areas, i do work in brum but comercial & h/a. Dont want to go that way, more stafford & stoke. We have been offerd loads in brum & always turn them down, perhaps pass them to you & you pass any on this way etc.

If you ever see us we are just passing through, do one job not far, buts for commercial client.
