Title: Stains

Lucozade or was it Tizer today.
Anyhow couldn't shift it and not for the first time since I started.
Any ideas.
The occupier was an ex cc as it happens and she said you'll not get that out.

I think its universally known these stains are almost impossible to remove due to their content. Irn Bru is in the same catergory.

Yep agree with Skywalker.

If it's do or die you can try reducing/oxidizing, depend on carpet.

they WILL diminish, including Irn Bru with the high heat treatment................one of the Red Out type products, should also help.  Only problem is the strong possibility of colour loss from the carpet dye.

I got a successfull removal,  years ago, but can't remember what with.

These stains will be permanent, as mike says the only option is the oxodising bleach or the reducing agents.

Thanks for that, thought it was me.
Somebody mentioned something to get rid of fake tan stains as well which I've had a few of but for the life of me I can't remember what it was   refresher anybody?

Micro -clean should shift it .It's a micro splitter mix it with warm water spray on stain  brush it in and leave it to do its work .Great stuff ;D

Had a job in the week where there were stains from cool aid (bright red) all over green wool carpets,in just about every room,could not shift them at all,used red rx,no col transfer,tried citrus gell and last resort tried solvex just to see,no joy.
Just went over them a lot with the wand in the end andd faded them slightly,felt so bad that i knocked £20 off !
I did mention prior to cleaning that they may not shift !

Lucozade, Tizer, Irn Bru, all problematic stains, I can add to that a drink which is manufactured and sold locally to me here called Mc Daid's Football Special, a nice drink , very popular with children but difficult ,indeed impossible to take out of a carpet. I just wonder are there many more such drinks on the market unique to small local areas and not to be found elsewhere.

Of the three prime colours, yellow is by far the most difficult to remove. To be successful without damaging the original topical dye is almost impossible.

In 29 years, I've only ever had ONE 100% successful lucozade stain removal on wool/nylon. I was on site all day and using a cold dye stripper, longer and longer dwells between rinsing, it finally came out.

I usually tell the customers it's permanent so any fasing is a bonus.
