What an excellent review. I haven't read either coaches book or his dossier, but your thoughts together with the little bits i gleaned when he was on here give the giste.

I was surprised at how many people posted against him and how strongly they seemed to feel. I found him very energising and definitely someone i could spark off.

I was disapointed that he scarpered and used the lame excuse that he had been banned. He could have either stumped up for the right to harangue us into signing up with him, or simply re-registered under another name and joined in without overt recruitment.

We have other experts on here, Alex being one often cited, so why not a marketing expert?

While i was impressed with him it was apparent that there were large gaps in his knowledge about us and the UK market. For a start he didn't fully grasp WFP, or what it mean't (it means we can do the job faster and earn more money),nor did he fully understand our business model in terms of obtaining regular repeat customers.

As for the re-worked real life examples that you would have liked to have seen how else would he obtain these other than by talking to us?

My opinion is that he definitely has something to offer and anyone who feels they are on a mission to become a window cleaning contender could do a lot worse than sign up with him. If you have any fire at all in your belly he could very likely turn you into a furnace.

yes i agree ... our quick maintenance cleans on repeat buisness are far different from the services he sells over the pond...

one thing i did glean was the waY a buisness should present itself to the customer... i have alot to work on  :( :o

From what i see you do everything pretty well pris, and i was staggered when i saw your in the pipeline debt. Is that off one van and no employees?

Marketing is only part of it, but it does offer a way of a clear advantage over everybody else, which is what i like to have.

Just out of interest, can ask if anyone has a mission statement and what it might be?

American Hype. I have seen loads on the walls of places that I cleaned when I used to do commercial. B and Q etc all have them. Most of them say. "Today we must exceed our customers expectations and we must be the best etc etc etc etc etc. "

American hype? Bill Gates' was  "a computer on every desk and in every home, running Microsoft software"-, right from the very start in 71. Oh, how we laughed.....

I suppose you're running rank zerox or ibm software.(well if history had been different you might be)
