I was playing about with the new 1 today and i noticed it had number settings and letter settings,are the letter ones pressure settings for the pump or are the numbers.
-
Those varistreams are deadly,.. 1 electrical short and the van could catch fire!!!
;)
-
That`s what i thought that`s why i asked lol. ;D ;D ;D :-*

LMAO!!
The letters are the "dead end control" pressure settings so far as I know,.. replacing the little blue dial on the old ones. I don't have a varistream, I use flowmaster, so I might be corrected yet,..

Do the flowmasters need a pressure switch,oh i nearly forgot i think there a re-badged eco-flo.
-
The new ones don't need a pressure switch, but I'd always leave it in place as a failsafe in case the dead end control failed.

The numbers which display by default are flow rate. In the "flashing menu" you have both letters & numbers. The letters are the pressure setting & the numbers are the cut off (electronic pressure switch) setting.
Here's my setting with 100psi surflo & 80m x 8mm minibore.
Flow = 1
Pressure = C
Cut off = 6
