Title: Starting in credit crunch
Post by: Anna Warren on January 15, 2009, 09:35:36 pm
I'm running my domestic cleaning business part-time, on top of my other job in a shop. I'm trying to make it as my full time job, but I have no driving licence, I'm doing now, and with no transport it's hard. Ihadnobig problems to get jobs, though today one of my customers called my they no longer can afford my services :( I charge £10 per hour and I live in North Yorkshire, in a little, very middle-class town. Any advice? Is anybody in similar situation?

Don't want to discourage you but you are lucky to get this money.I've been doing it for a year but for the last month I had just few calls and I can't even get 8 pounds.Hard times n Essex.

What's about commercial cleaning, how to get the first contract? Most people on this forum say that commercial is better. What is needed on a beginnig?
