I think you will find it is, if you read the coshh data sheet. Any product you or your employees use you should be aware of its potential, and methods to reduce hazards from its use.

RWC, are you going for SAFEcontractor, i cant see why your asking if your weren't, as this is required for them.

well if you are using the COSHH sheet then a COSHH assessment must be carried out by yourself and you must be and this mus tbe done by a competent person.

This is where people go mad with H&S needing to have assessments for everything.

you will also need to assess your resins next.

if you are not competent in carrying out the COSHH then it is of no use.

how much are those courses costing you ? in having those qualifications is only the start. you need to keep up to date with legislation changes all the time. this can be done by using HSE website and keeping track of upcoming  changes. This happens twice per year in april and october.

Not sure (i deleted the price list by accident, im awaiting a new one), it depends on when they are and if i can fit them in.

CIEH Risk Assessment Principles and Practice is £75

Of course keeping up with changes is important. Everyone "should" be aware of impending changes affecting their profession.

go to your local college and enquire about night school and study for a NEBOSH. This will take one year study with one evening per week. You do need to study though a sit has 3 exams at the end.

the courses you are doing ar emost likely self assessment through the course.

defo go down the nebosh route and will cost in region of 700 - 1000 i reckon but well worht it and includes loads more than what you mentioned.

I plan to do that, get the smaller ones done first, and build up to it.
