Hi,
I just wanted to check with others to see if you agree.. I have just fitted 3 new 100 gpd membranes, filters, and new resin after running the system for nearly 24 hours and prior flushing after taking seperate readings 2 of the membranes were bringing the tds down to 20ppm before the di and 1 membrane could only manage it down to 200ppm would you agree that this membrane is faulty..
thanks

It is more likely that it has not been seated properly in it's housing. It would be worth taking it out putting a very little silicone grease on the the O rings and fitting it back in, being careful to push it fully into position.
If this does not improve it then it would have to be a faulty membrane. This is very rare, but can happen occasionally.

thank you alex i did take it out and replace it a couple of times but was still getting the same results..then put an old one in from the last lot as they were only a few months old and it was ok the only reason they have been replaced was because the housings all cracked with the recent freeze..

Must be the membrane then, unless it is some very obtuse yet to be discovered problem!
