So long as its a on demand tankless system, any gas water heater would work.

the one out of the caravan will be better.

caravan club sell them as do southampton calor.

The l5 auto ignites, the one you'll be getting has a pilot light, don't worry this is better.

If you can take the di off the van thats good, and put a t piece and the a tap going back to the tank after the heater and before the reel. This gives you lots of options that you'll thank me for later. The heater in the caravan is probably a morco or a rinnai, find out. Both are good.

It's possible you may have to cut a hole in the roof, if you don't want to use an 4"aluminium hose fed out the door.

i use a morco and use a flume out the back door easier than cutting hole these heaters are much more robust and will work fine

They also have been eu passed.

Insurers will take that into consideration if you had an accident.

Got a nice Morco boiler in there too, i didnt realise what you meant about the T...now i do.

I turned it on, piping hot out of the brush, un coupled it, pump not turning off, look around the 8mm mircobore is about 2 inchs wide lol with the hot pressure and split.

Cut it off and put a T back into tank...so now its alos hot for the other hose reel. BRILLIANT!

I use car heater hose inside the van  after the heater and untill the reel.

In the begining i had several loud blow outs.

Ask the others what they use?

Yeh ive got some tricoflex in van from heater, seems to hold it fine.

I was on about the micorbore bulging, its doesnt now that T peice eases the pressure, put a tap in there too so i can regulate it

Gas to gas bottle

Cold to water tank

Hot to hose reel and T'd off to tank

Imagine a hoslock connector exiting your heater- this is hot water- give it a metre then a plastic T piece(gardiners or local diy etc), to split the hose into two.

One goes on and attaches to the reel.

The other has a tap on it and feeds into the hoselock connection on the side of the vans water tank.

Lots of uses- diagnostic, when you are having problems just open tap and the varistream and heater etc should start. You do not have to go to the tap on your pole. You do not have to waste water.
Ease pressure and water out of reel overnight.
Heat water in tank (usefull on freezing nights)
get ice out of reel by powering up and off untill it gets through.

etc etc
